Pianist Wenwen Du from Vancouver and former student of Prof. Lee Kum Sing and Ian Bostridge will embark on a North American tour of many cities including Berkeley, Vancouver, Morrow, etc. spring of 2015.

Hyoung Joon Jo will perform at this year’s Beethovenfest Bonn October 3rd and 4th.  Tian-Yu Zhou performs in China and Japan October and November.Agnes Langer, Pavel Kolesnikov and the Mainzer Virtuosi perform at Cadogan Hall and Houghton Hall October 16 and 19, 2013. We wish all much success!

Everett Hopfner wins E. Gre Competition
Everett Hopfner, a welcome longtime participant of the Casalmaggiore Festival, has just captured the top prize at the 2013 E. Gre Competition for New Music in Canada!Along with a cash prize, Everett will have the opportunity to tour across Canada later this year.

Elzbieta Stawarska wins at Concurso Internazionale “Musica Insieme” in Venice
Elzbieta Stawarska, a regular alumni at Casalmaggiore Festival, has just won both the solo and chamber music categories at the the Concurso Internazionale “Musica Insieme” in Venice, Italy. Congratulations, Ela for your wonderful accomplishment!

Pavel Kolesnikov wins Esther Honens International Competition
Pavel Kolesnikov is the 2012 winner of the Esther Honens International Competition in Calgary. Pavel, a regular and long-time favourite of the Casalmaggiore International Festival, captures the top prize at this year’s Honens International Piano Competition which includes a $100,000 CAD cash prize as well as an artist career development package valued at $500,000 CAD. Samson Tsoy takes second prize at the 23rd International Haverhill Sinfonia Competition!
Samson Tsoy was just declared winner of the second prize, and highest ranked pianist at this year’s International Haverhill Sinfonia Competition in England. He was awarded two other special prizes as well. We are proud of his accomplishments.

Andrejs Osokins wins fourth prize at the Leeds International Piano Competition!
Andrejs Osokins has taken the Anita Woolman Fourth Prize at the prestigious Leeds International Piano Competition. We congratulate Andrejs on his wonderful achievement and wish him all future success.

Pianist Samson Tsoy is one of this year’s laureates of the Santander International Piano Competition in Spain.
Samson was one of six selected by a renowned international panel of jurists to compete in the Finals of the prestigious competition. We congratulate him on his wonderful achievement!

Pavel Kolesnikov in semi-finals of the Esther Honens International Piano Competition
We are also proud to announce that Pavel Kolesnikov was one of 10 pianists chosen to compete in the semi-finals of the Esther Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary, Canada. He made his highly lauded London debut at St. Johns Smiths Square in a program of the Brahms entire works for violin and piano with violinist Agnes Langer on July 19th of this year.
